Please why do people pay tithe to the church?
Am curious because the way pastors are preaching about tithe paying is alarming, one said that the door of blessing will been open to only those people that pay their tithe,
Deut26:12 said that we should set our tithes aside and give it to the fatherless, widows, foreigners and the Levitt.

Maybe pastors don't read that part of Bible.

Do you also know that Tithing is not included in the New covenant that is Jesus Christ? Since there is no tithing formulae such as the one created by God in the book of Numbers for His Tithing system, there is no tithing law in the New Covenant for those who are Christians to follow.

Abandon the old completely, and fully accept the New Covenant for yourself.

You mixed it up . Tithe is given to God only . Right from the days of Abraham . God gave the Jews two additional 10%. The first one to share with the poor the 2nd one to feast with the family this by no means take the place of Gods tithe . That means 30% are set apart . But the 3rd one is every 3 years
