Hello nairalanders always wanted to create a thread like this for sometimes now, but it seems someone has done it first I have all the problems that this guy has in this thread.

the only difference is that glasses do work on me, and I've had a number of glasses over the years but recently I noticed a new problem arising.

I now see double whenever I am looking at an object that is far away even when wearing glasses, and I feel like it is just a matter of time before I cannot walk normally because I will see everything doubled.

and I have visited a number of hospitals they just recommend glasses to me over and over again in fact I have like four pair of glasses currently.

what am asking is that has any of you ever experienced such or anyone close to you, or do I have to go abroad eventually because nobody seem to share the same problem as me.

You are probably suffering from vertigo...if your double vision is accompanied by a kind of trembling ground effect.

There are several things that can cause double vision.

Since a human has 2 eyes, you need to know if the problem is from one eye or both.

Its simple, cover the left eye and see if the right eye can see without double vision. Do same for the other eye.

Your results will narrow down the problem.

I have done that it is present in both eyes, but I think the left is more severe than the right.

can you explain the trembling ground effect ??, I do see halos when looking at a bright light source like a bulb, and I have a lot of eye floaters.
