If Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is destined to be president of Nigeria, it will surely come to pass. At the ripeness of time, key factors will combine favourably for him to fulfil his destiny. But if he is not destined for that exalted seat, he will never sit there. Atiku Abubakar is an example. He had things all set up and came very close as influential VP but today, he still far from the target.

In any case, APC cannot disintegrate because an unnecessarily rebellious Gov. Godwin Obaseki was schemed out of reckoning by the same person who schemed him in four years ago. So, Tinubu should be left out of this political fight between 'father and son'.

The truth is that no active politician anywhere in the world can tell you that he or she hasn't suffered one setback or another. So Obaseki should take this blow on his chin like a man, count his losses and move on a better politician.

This one don come again, destined my foot.
There is nothing like destined when it comes to Nigeria politics.

Obaseki messed up big time, reasonable people that are not biased kept telling him long time ago to make peace with his party leadership, but arrogance will not allow him, he kept boasting and taking and instructions from his abusive advisers and followers.
Nigeria governorship position is sweet and powerful, u have to manage it with wisdom. Fashola had same issue, but he used uncommon wisdom rather than abusing or unnecessarily confrontational with party elders.

Why report a Godfather to another Grand Godfather? Theafnubu and Oshiomo-Ole are birds of the same feather who covers each other's evil ways to detriment of the Nigerian people.

Obaseki should fight on!

You are just using Lagos Politics to permutate... when it is time, Benin people will do the needful! this is not Lagos.

Like I said obaseki can only fail if his name isn’t on the ballot paper for the gubernatorial elections.

Ambode choose his destiny and is still being fought. Obaseki can learn and choose his.

The only way APC can lose at the national level is if INEC doesn't conduct the elections. Maybe if America or Canada comes in to handle the election.

It's so unfortunate. Everybody watched with shock as bullion van entered Tinubu compound during last election and nothing happened!

This person is the one you people want to sell 8 years of your life to. He will dole out cash and bags of rice as usual and people will give him, their mandate, only to come back here and start wailing.

Why can't we look beyond tribe and pick a candidate that has truly performed to take us to promise land?

Must it be about PDP and APC?

Should we have to choose between Tinubu and Atiku? Think about it again.

Unfortunately that's what obtains in Nigeria... Who wanted Obasanjo, Buhari, GEJ but the party bigwigs

It seems the manner in which Naija is being run is profiting to those cabals and the go to any lengths to keep it that way by throwing up their kinds...

Now we can only choose between whoever PDP or APC throws up because only those two have National coverage.. Many parties floated have been delisted by INEC....

Even Donald Trump was just like an underdog and well, see him there today...

This is the only sensible comment here. Naija na APC till further notice. Democracy and APC no dey the same dictionary. So, you fools that want to go and vote, just know you are deceiving yourself. On the day of election, sit in your house, on the t.v and listen to the announcement of the "selected" President come 2023

Those who writes this letter are very foolish even as the letter. Apart from the party having problems, are they saying that Tinubu will be Nigeria next president ?
What happened to young people that will context for the position. I will not commit my life and my childrens life into one old man hands. We are still suffering of one old man call buhari and you guys are still recruiting another? God forbid

Some few weeks ago, it was the prolific Mallam Nasir "Aubameyang" El-rufai that was hitting the nail of Asiwaju "Azpilecueta" Tinubu political coffin,

Now, just like the fraudulent Manchester City, the APC Uefa group have warned him seriously that he would not and should not participate in the 2023 Presidential Champions League because of his corrupt ways and evil antics to get the price.

Who will Asiwaju "Pep" Tinubu run to now?

Or should he just support his boy Prof Yemi "Arteta" Osibande who's currently the Chairman, "Use The Toilet Committee of Nigeria"?

Only time will tell.

This so-called group should be dragging Buhari (who happens to be the most influencial leader and member of the party), instead of trying to blackmail Tinubu. Tinubu is not from Edo state so the best he can do is remain neutral. The Edo folks should sort themselves. After all, Edo is not Lagos, so they should leave Tinubu out of it.
Be sincere to yourself for once, didn't tinubu intefere when Oshimole was about to be impeached and or removed by court. Hypocrisy

Throwback:
Where was this group when Tinubu's candidate was schemed out with inflated delegates during the Ondo state primaries of 2016?

Did John Oyegun who was the National Chairman of the party, not rule against the decision of the party organ that agreed there were irregularities in that Ondo primary?

Where was this group when Tinubu and Faleke were rubbished after the death of Abubakar Audu in Kogi after the election was 95% won, and a disloyal Yahaya Bello who never showed up to any party campaign after losing the APC primary to Audu, was allowed to reap a victory already won by others?

Tinubu and his supporters stayed put and worked for the success of the party.

Don't mind the nonsense group. A bunch of insincere lots, where were they when 14 elected HOA members of the same party platform as the gov, were not allowed to do their jobs? Where was this same Oyegun then? Where were they when the Gov. ignored recommendation from NASS leadership? Or when he rubbished a committee set up by the party leadership to reconcile the state party? All these were sufficient grounds for disqualification, yet he was given a fair chance to defend his credentials.

You are the one that is a hypocrite. Why should Tinubu stick his neck out for Obaseki, after he planned a coup that humiliated and almost had the chairman disgraced out of office, and also refused several entreaties towards reconciliation? Tinubu can't force Oshiomhole to do anything regarding Obaseki's matter beyond suing for peace like he already did. Besides, it is an Edo state internal affair and he has to be careful before your likes start accusing him of meddling in the political affairs of the state. Abi no be una dey shout say 'Edo is not Lagos'??

Any Nigerian who commented on the possibility of Tinubu becoming President has a serious problem and is part of the problem Nigeria is dealing with.

Never Again!
Times up for these old clowns. Buhari is the last.

Those who think 2023 will be elections as usual, be prepared for a movie, the reign of Partisan politics in Nigeria is coming to an end.
