According to the Nigerian Journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari is considering locking down Lagos state totally for two weeks as residents are not taking the virus seriously.

She wrote...

"#BREAKING #CoronaVirus is INCREASING In LagosFlag of NigeriaFace with medical maskMicrobe
Almost nobody is wearing masks on the streets. They are hanging it on their necks. A Presidency source has informed me that President
@MBuhari
is considering a two week TOTAL LOCKDOWN OF LAGOS "

Another lockdown of Lagos may cause the revolution people are yelling for.
Mr presidency should trade with caution.

Of what benefit will it be locking down for just two weeks? Will the vaccine be found in two weeks time?

Even Brazil and many countries with serious cases of Covid-19 can not afford total lockdown because they cannot afford a social benefit for all citizens. Even Uk and USA with worst case of covid-19 cannot afford total lockdown. Buhari should check the economic hardships of total lockdown to the citizens.

Total lockdown without any financial assistance and social security from the government for the citizens is worst than coronavirus.

It's pathetic seriously. I don't blame the government really, even with alarming increase, some people behave as if nothing it's happening. Serious enough, so many in Lagos still don't believe it's real including those that should know. Earlier we adjust our lifestyle better for all us.
