you guys are lazy and ignorant in Nigerian politics which is your bane look here, at the highest level of political horsetrading, ethnicity and religion are not considered but deep political interests and that is why even politicians from the same village can go against each other cos its all about interests first. Your calculation that yoruba will hustle for votes in the north is not tenable especially looking back in history. It is who the political gladiators trust the most that they work for. This is what we saw in 2011 when gej won and same people who work for him then turn against him in 2015. That is how it works not a south vs north thing. Northerners has voted for southerners and vice versa and it is a dynamic system depending on the swing of political interests. Track records of political participation and those marketing the candidate are also considered.

The Yorubas are masters in this game and will settle for a candidate that the northerners will trust barring whoever pdp will pick as candidate whether from the south or north. We know these are your fears and that's why you are begging for both parties to present an igbo candidate which is impossible because the igbos are yet to contribute anything meaningful to APC. You guys can try your luck sha but your sentiments can't win this game.

It is not in the SE or SS interest to vote for a SW candidate in 2023. This is especially so, because it was not in the SW interest to vote for a SS president in 2015.

We will shop for a suitable candidate both in the SE, SS and possibly the north, and present such a person as the candidate for 2023, of course keeping tabs on who the APC presents

Really, when exactly did the Yorubas became masters of the game?

You've been in the wilderness since independence until the civil war. If there wasn't a consensus agreement to allow you guys rule in 1999 do you think Obasanjo would have emerged president?

Asslicking the north while selling out on the South is what you call sophistication but you forget that anyone can easily do that.

These guys are very funny. They forget that there is nothing noble about asslicking and anyone can easily do that.

They teamed up with the North in 2015 to remove a SS president only to force a disaster on us. Now what stops us in the SE and SS from teaming up with the North to ensure a yoruba does not win in 2023?

They are so self-centered that all they think about is their own interests but they forget that others have their own interests to protect.

If APC fails to give their presidential ticket to an Igbo man then the North (maybe NC or NE) is going to continue from where Buhari stopped because there is no how a Yoruba man should rule again when the Igbos are yet to have their own turn.

Does that consensus include Alex Ekwueme?

2023 is the last chance for those that love Nigeria to save it by doing what is right, just and fair.

Igbos are not happy because of how they've been treated badly in a country they contributed so much for and has been frustrated into seeking for their own country.

The Yorubas have used their turn as president for good 8 years, and another 8 years as vice president. Right now, Nigeria will gain nothing in terms of ensuring peace and stability by allowing them to rule again when they've have been in the corridors of power since the last twenty years.

Everyone that wants to save Nigeria from iminent breakup must ensure that Igbo man or woman rules in 2023.

It is not chest beating but simple mathematics.

Which is why APC should fish for a sound Igboman. If APC gives its ticket to personalities like Okorocha or Orji Kalu, then this will definitely backfire.

But if APC is sensible enough to shop outside the party and bring in credible people who Igbos trust will run the affairs of this nation judiciously, there is no reason Igbos won't support such a person. If APC presents people like Ngige or Ogbonnaya Onu. Or perhaps shop for outsiders like Kingsley Moghalu, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Festus Odimegwu, maybe even Pat Utomi (even though I don't like him for being too pro-Buhari), then APC will have as much chance as the PDP

Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is not an outsider,Neither is Pat Utomi or the rest.
Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is an Anioma-Igbo from Delta State married to an Ohuhu-Igbo from Abia State.
The only outsiders to the Igbos are the non Igbos such as the Yorubas,Isokos,Binis,Ijaws,Efiks and Urhobos.
No force either on heaven or earth can strip us of our precious identity.
