The controversy over the disqualification of Godwin Obaseki, on an alleged discrepancies in his certificates, by the professor Ayuba's APC screening committee, despite the University of Ibadan confirmation that Obaseki is a graduate of the institution, has led to the emergence of Adams Oshiomhole's only certificate online; showing that he only attended adult education program.

On the Obaseki's disqualification, some concerned individual have blamed Ayuba who is a professor in the academics, for allowing a less-educates Oshiomhole to manipulate him to do an illegitimate job of disqualifying Obaseki, when he should have stood on the part of truth.
