A former Vice President and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] Atiku Abubakar, has lambasted on the federal government over the rising debt in Nigeria.

THEWATCH NEWS learnt that president Buhari under the All Progressive Congress [APC] has been collecting loans from countries according to him the loans are used to create jobs, build roads and other infrastructures in Nigeria.

THEWATCH NEWS gathered that since January, 2020, president Buhari has collected three loans from different countries.

Atiku in his article on Tuesday advised federal government to reduce its expenditure to cushion the effect of the country’s high debt.
