National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has urged both federal and state governments to expedite action on reopening of schools for academic activities, saying the continued closure ofschools would have negative impact on the students.

The leadership of the association also warned those parading themselves as NANS officials and issuing fake statements purportedly on behalf of the student body to desist from the act.

NANS spoke yesterday, in a statement signed by its officials, including Kowe Odunayo Amos Coordinator, NANS Zone D; Akinteye Babatunde , Chairman, NANS, Joint Campus Committee (JCC) Ondo axis; Bamgbose Tomiwa Chairman, NANS, JCC Ogun axis; Busari AbdulQowiyy, Chairman, NANS JCC Lagos Axis; Agbogunleri Seun, Chairman, NANS JCC Osun Axis and Fadare Blessing, Chairman, NANS, JCC Oyo Axis.

NANS that is not united wants to dictate to FG.... For your mind

Not only NANS but every Nigerian wants the schools to be reopened.

Continue closure will rather kill-off the already dying sector.

They are if no use

I don know how FG will do this re-opening of schools especially in tertiary institutions. Cause there are some people that are more than 200 hundred in a department, how will they take lectures and write exams?

It's totally wrong while d interstate lockdown is still in place it's going to be terrible people are suffering already due to traffic caused by the interstate lockdown while security opperatives are cashing out

But they should have also helped government by suggesting steps government could take and things government should provide for the reopening of schools.
As it is now, it seems they are just giving order to government and that will simply not work.
