ONDO LG POLL: NO GOING BACK ON CREDIBLE COUNCIL POLL SOON ........ AKEREDOLU.

The Ondo state governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN) has reassured the residents of the state of credible & transparent local government election soon.

The governor gave the assurance while playing host to APC Chairmanship candidates who paid him a solidarity visit at the state house, Alagbaka Akure.

Welcoming the candidates, the governor expressed delight about positive reports from the field indicating that all the chairmanship candidates are firmly on ground preparing very hard for the coming election.

He therefore charged them to continue to intensify efforts on their house to house campaigns to woo more electorate into the APC fold.

While appreciating them for the solidarity visit, the governor assured them that no amount of distraction or evil political machination will derail his administration from its determined efforts at providing basic necessities of life for the well informed residents of the state regardless of where they live, work or play.

Akeredolu further advised to work together as a team & remain a formidable foot soldiers at the grassroots to ward off any fifth columnists.

Earlier, the Ifedore Local Government Area APC Chairmanship candidate, Engr. Alex Oladimeji on behalf of other candidate inform the Governor that they all came to identify with him and express solidarity and also rededicate their commitment to the 2nd term project of the Governor, He also express unwavering & unalloyed support of all the 18 APC Chairmanship candidates, their vice & 203 Councillors not only to clinch the 2nd time ticket but to emerge victorious at the governorship poll.

Contributing, the APC Chairmanship candidate for Irele council area, Hon. Ajimotoki concluded that, the combine effect of the unprecedented & monumental achievements of the governor across the state in the last 3 years and well crafted, structured, articulated welfare packages for their respective council areas are enough to campaign & win all the elections ahead.

Akeredolu pls remove the word 'credible' from that statement. Even if angels arrive from heaven as election observers in Nigeria, U guys can never conduct credible elections
