My Covid-19 Lockdown Experience from Lagos to Abuja by Nobody: 11:17pm On Jun 29, 2020 |
I Arrived Suleja around 1pm in the afternoon on Friday and reached my final destination at new nyanya past 5pm... How come Your guess is right. Traffic. Traffic. Traffic. So wetin come cause this traffic gan? Lockdown Hmm buzzing activities on all shops and doors were even left ajar at the Jabi Shoprite directly opposite the street where our bus from Lagos dropped us to disseminate to our various destinations. I even went to apply for one of these menial jobs sharparly so I'll get hold of something doing asap cos man don too siddon for house for Lagos. 3 months no easy walai. Unfortunately enough I was told that the vacancy is filled. That I came late. City that's on lockdown o Now I'm back in the guest room typing this. Dunno how long I'd be a guest here before I'd be unguested cos man no come Abuja to just come while away time o. I have done enough chilling and whiling away of time already. I need something doing anybody here with a menial job should Holla I fit cut flower self. But I'm a Barman/Mixologist in the occupational aspect (Home services included) But on a serious why would this be Lagos is on lockdown. Businesses are closed. No activities. Hunger Wan finish boys. Abuja is on lockdown. Businesses are ongoing. Activities thriving. Men are flexing and flossing. But on the internet both cities are on lockdown and no activities. Only one is not a lie. The other is the biggest facade in a lockdown history. I feel like crying. In short lemme just cry already before I sleep. Good night |
