They still continue looting, nothing has changed.
Just yesterday, I saw three Lebanese assaulting a Nigerian in Nigeria and the funniest thing was that, they were being escorted by our policemen and they didn't do shit about it.
Ordinary Lebanese o.
Well, I wanted to form van Damme + Jason Statham on them but when I remember even when their gun is stationery, accidental discharge still happens
Then I said to myself, MY LIFE MATTERS JAREE,
MOYA LOOK AWAY

wata shame bro! man up next time! besides you got a phone to record the incident!

It pains me to see these kind of threads but if they leave it for us in Nigeria, can we manage it properly as they did?

Before you drag me pls I want you to tell me a sector in Nigeria that has been managed successfully apart from corruption

How do you mean manage?

It shouldn't had been managed but reverend cus it wasn't ours but inherited from our fore fore fathers for a purpose and to the best of our use but we allowed the whites stole it from us now using it to their own advantage.

And this have nothing to do with with politics, this is tradition we are talking about here.

If these artifacts costs a lot, why not make more and export outside the shores of Nigeria, in order to make foreign currencies by our local artists.

Nope.

There's a premium placed on antique pieces. The older, the more it's likely valued.

Yes the 2020 creations would be bought by casual tourists, but the millionaires and billionaires would meet in auction houses.

shocked

The whites brought missionary and ended up looting our deities..

Blacks its time to wise up and sometimes do your thinking by yourselves.
They brought Christianity and told us our culture was barbaric and should be discarded. Same people started stealing and trading in artefacts depicting the so-called barbaric cultures.

I pity thoughtless Christians.

I'd rather think that they were sold.

When African Christians convert, they see their forefathers' religion as fetish.

This must have been the case here.

Re: Christie Sells Nigerian Statues Of Igbo Deities That Were Looted by Ajsmart(m): 11:57am On Jun 30, 2020
You’re correct. This is why I maintain that until the average Nigerian/African understand/acknowledge that their current negative state of affair originates from the white man, Africans will never be great and black people will continue to stay at the bottom of the barrel. Anyone who doesn’t emancipate himself from mental slavery will continue to short change himself, family, friends, people and nation.

if they bring them here they would not with lack of care.who visits museum here? Even out landed tourist locations in Africa are made lucratives by the whites. If those objects we're still here no one would have talk about them in this age and time.we are good for nothing so these precious arts better remain overseas where they are valued.Every thing in this country doesn't have value.Education, sports just everything wants to move abroad were they can prosper.
