Sad really, people who are supposed to be the custodian of the people's health and to assure them of the readiness to treat them are all falling because instead of them to do the right thing they don't.

How do you explain a governor, health commissioner of some states taking ill in the fight? Is it that some of these governors and commissioners only form protection for the press and photo ops and thereafter discard the protection feeling like a superman? Imagine the Ondo state governor despite having been photographed wearing masks in previous video and photo-shoot was seen sneezing without protection ...not even into a handkerchief or elbow as we were taught ...I just don't understand this.

Since there is a global pandemic that has claimed over 500,000 lives, it is logical to believe that most of the deaths are from COVID-19. A lot of common men have died from it not only politicians. Our low testing capacity has not helped matters. Many people are still living in denial. When a poor man dies, they say its malaria.

Most of these people had underlying health challenges before this period. Their death could have been averted if they were allowed to be flown out of the country for treatment.

What I am trying to portray all along is that, Covic19 in Nigeria does not require all the noise, its being over hype. Don't compare Nigeria with what is happening in Europe and America. Our case here is totally different. We are dealing with malaria here not Covic19. If the kind of Covid-19 in Europe and America should visit Nigeria, we would have been picking dead bodies in the streets, considering the poor and limited health facilities.
