It’s hard to summarize all of the impossibly desirable brands that are suddenly available to purchase for nearly half off, because practically every single marked-down item has a story to tell.

Shop has doubled down on its appeal to consumers — having all of the buzziest, celeb-loved brands in one place — by going a step further and out-pricing its competitors. When Nordstrom surprised us all last month with a similar sitewide sale, we made the mistake of waiting to hit “Buy” on some of our top picks, only to have the sale suddenly and quickly scaled back. Actions of retailers are much less predictable these days, so we’re not going to make the same mistake again.
