I have successfully downloaded 2go to my blackberry phone, when i want to use the software, it refuse to open, I get the message "cannot connect to 2go servers. please check your GPRS settings with your netweork operator and try again. If the problem persists please visit wap.2go.in" can your guys please help me out, most of my pals are not in the bb platform.

from my experience i dont think it will work on a bb week or bb month cos it uses a low network, i tried it using the N1000 subscription on my bb fone at it works.

You don't even need a BIS to use apps like 2go, Nimbuzz, Bolt on a Blackberry as they are capable of connecting through low-level connections I.e TCP/IP settings.

Just go to your Options, look for the TCP/IP tab, it should be in your Options page or check Advanced options (depending on your model).

When you find it, select the boxes n Input the network parameters there
Eg, for Mtn put in APN- Web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net. Username-web, password - web.

Pls be informed that apps that connect through the TCP/IP are not covered under your BIS. Your credit will be deducted as u use 2go.

You can use most apps including using the Blackberry App world without a BIS subscription.

However your Browser, email, BBM and facebook for BB will not work.

apps that work with ur mtn 1k include but not limited to, Nimbuzz, opera, bolt, 2go messenger etc

please how can i download 2go on computer then install it to my bb thru my pc? i am connected to mtn #450 weekly plan and i am only able to use facebook, twitter and bb messenger.

I have installed the 2go in my samsung corby but no evidence of the installation. I have not seen the icon neither do i know how to start chatting. Any advice gurus
