Hey TechChamps, this is a gaming test of the Xiaomi Redmi 9 #Redmi9GamingTest. Here we have the 32gb ROM, 3gb RAM variant which is the lower end model.
The Redmi 9 is the cheapest phone from Xiaomi this year coming with a MediaTek Helio G80 Processor and I played Call of duty, asphalt 9 and NBA

Helio G70, G80 and G85 are aimed at moderate gaming so 30-40fps will be doable at low - medium graphics quality. Also, they're relatively new so optimization is still something to consider.

Redmi 9 is not the cheapest phone from Xiaomi this year, rather it's Redmi 9A is the cheapest so far.
Better correct your sentence

I think the mediatek helio G80 is a perfect fit for the Redmi 9 and it comes with the hyperengine gaming tech which provides amazing gaming experience. But if not mediatek helio G80, which processor would you recommend for gaming in this budget?

A very good question I was trying to figure the same thing after watching the video and comparing it to the redmi note 9, which has almost the same specs except for the camera and Helio G85; which meant spending 10k-15k extra or so.

Statistically, none.
From the reviews and benchmark I have seen online, even the snapdragon 665 in redmi note 8 is struggling to match the performance of the MTK G80 on the redmi 9.

Yet the sd665 in terms of price won't bridge the gap. So far, only the G80 can match the G80.
Maybe an mtk HelioG70T will be deployed to do that.
