Nigeria’s COVID-19 Cases Exceed 30,000 by Newsbreakers: 10:59am On Jul 09, 2020
The Nigeria Center for Disease Control, NCDC, has announced 460 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 30,249. 15 new deaths were recorded along with 262 recoveries. Lagos State topped the list.

The 460 new cases are reported from 21 states- Lagos (150); Rivers (49); Oyo (43); Delta (38); FCT (26); Anambra (20); Kano (20); Plateau (18); Edo (14); Bayelsa (13); Enugu (13); Osun (12); Kwara (10); Borno (cool; Ogun (7); Kaduna (6); Imo (4); Bauchi (3); Gombe (3); Niger (2); Adamawa (1).

The breakdown in the tweet of NCDC shows that the 503 cases were from 20 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 150. Rivers State followed with 49 while Oyo State had 43. 262 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 12,370 from 12,108. There were also 15 new deaths. Find the breakdown below:
