Sexual related sins ( fornication, masturbation, anal sex, MouthAction, pornography, e.t.c) is one of the major sins the devil is using as a weapon against our youths.

There is the spiritual side to this, which has to do with demonic manipulation (demonic influence, demonic oppression or demonic possession) and there's the physical aspect which is through the weakness of the flesh, however I'll focus mostly on dealing with it when it's as a result of the weakness of the flesh.

The first step in overcoming the weakness of the flesh is by cutting off ties with anyone who encourages us to engage in such acts, no matter who the person is even if he's a Christian brother, sister, boyfriend, girlfriend, best friend, mentor, e.t.c.

1st Corinthians 5: 9 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:

10 - Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. 

11 - But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.

1st Corinthians 15: 33 - Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

34 - Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

Matthew 5 : 29 - 30.

Remember the kingdom of God suffers violence and only the violence can take it by force (determination)

Secondly you have to be totally disciplined and take control of what your eyes looks at, because what you set your eyes upon greatly affects the thoughts of your heart.

Job 31 : 1 - I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?

Lamentation 3: 51a - Mine eye affecteth mine heart


What the eyes looks upon affects our thoughts, this is why the devil keeps polluting our airspace with nudity of all kinds from the secular music videos to movies to adverts to fashion , even the children cartoon aren't left out.

There are more pornographic sites than any other in the world as of today.

A lady in this our generation that doesn't dress provocatively isn't fashion trendy. A pastor's wife once told me she finds it very difficult to get modest clothing from female boutiques, cos most of what they sell encourages nudity.

Male fashion isn't left out as most trousers these days are so tight that you'll literally see the shape of the male private organ from the trousers.


If you can comfortably control what you set your eyes upon then you're on your way to victory.

Remember that David fell into adultery and murder because he set his eyes upon Bathsheba bathing naked. After his fall he made up his mind not to set his eyes upon any wicked thing.

Psalm 101:3a - I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: 

Make a covenant with your eyes just like  David and Job did in Job 31:1, as you read this post not to set your eyes upon any evil thing again.

After you've disciplined your eyes, you also need to take control of your thoughts and this is where demonic influence comes in.

The heart( mind) of man is a great battle field and what you think in your heart will definitely get the better part of you.

Proverbs 23:7a - For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:

Constantly thinking about something will make you engage in it, and when you keep acting on your thoughts, it becomes a character and this is how weaknesses develop.  This is also why the devil keeps on bombarding our thoughts with sexual perversion of all kinds.

There's a way out of these thoughts which can be seen in the scriptures.

2nd Corinthians 10: 4 - For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;

5 - Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6 - And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

The scriptures above says we should cast down imaginations and everything that exalts itself against God's knowledge. We have to constantly reject every thought that's contrary to what God's word says no matter how enticing it sounds, but this can only be achieved when we live in obedience to God's word.

Constantly pleading the blood of Jesus when these thoughts come into our heart is a sure way to victory.

Revelation 12 : 11 -And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
However the demons who influence these thoughts in our hearts will only give way when they first see the blood at the doorstep of your heart.

Exodus 12 : 13 - And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you.


You also have to live a life of prayer, praise,  constant study of God's word and arm yourself with the weapons of warfare ( Ephesians 6 : 12 - 18), cos the mind is a great battle field.


May grace and peace of Jesus Christ be multiplied upon your life as you strive to live a live free of sexual sins in Jesus name.
