Ebonyi State government has announced that schools in the state will remain closed, until further notice The Deputy Governor, Barr. Kelechi Igwe made this known in a statement signed by his Press secretary, Mr. Monday Uzor. This comes after the Federal Government had announced the COVID-19 guidelines for schools resumption amid the pandemic currently affecting the country The statement also added that the state is set to commence House-to-House COVID-19 contact tracing in various communities of the state as measures to curb the spread of the virus in the state.
