I am a British born Nigerian, who intends to marry a Jamaican. I would like to wear traditional white dress at the church and then traditional lace at the reception. I am having 2nd thoughts, my family are stressing me saying that I am showing a lack of respect if I do not wear traditional native. The problem is that I want it in a particular style and I looking for a tailor/seamstress who can meet my specification. If you know someone that can sew to the sort of standards in the pics below, please let me know. What do you think?
