The mobile network brand "Three" has succeeded Yokohama tyres as Chelsea FC's new shirt sponsor.

In a deal that will last for three years, the brand will appear on all of the Club's shirts including both the women and Academy sides.

The deal had been announced since late January but had to wait until July 1 before it came into effect.

It was also on July 1 the Club unveiled its new home kit with no longer the usual Yokohama tyres in front but has instead being replaced with a big number "three".

From that day onward, various events started unfolding which got a lot of people talking. Here are all the interesting facts and coincidences associated with the "three" brand.

For starters, the brand makes use of a big stylish number "three" as its logo.

To make things interesting, they signed a "three" year contract in partnership with the London club.

In the first year of that contract, they will ensure Chelsea's home ground Stamford Bridge is enabled with 5G network.

Before the official unveiling on July 1, Chelsea almost never scored or conceded "three" goals.

Ever since the unveiling on July 1, Chelsea had always experience a "three" goal scoreline, either scoring "three" or conceding "three'' in their last matches.

Most surprising of all, after they lost 3-0 on Saturday most people were expecting to see them drop to fifth, but as the case may be even after Leicester and Manchester United had played their respective games , they still remain "third" on the Premier League table.
