Originally from Ekiti State, born to two University Professors, Yomi Fapas himself graduated from UCH, Ibadan.

On migrating to the USA, and touched by the plight of immigrants, he ventured further to study Law, at the same time getting a PhD in public health from John Hopkins University.

MEET: YOMI FAPAS
Yomi “Fapas” Faparusi, grew up on a university campus. He learned the value of education and hard work from his parents who had a poultry business in addition to being college professors.

At a young age, Fapas tended chickens at the family business. Thus, Fapas understands the importance of small businesses, especially in Tennessee.


Yomi attended medical school and eventually graduated with a PHD from John Hopkins School of Public Health.

Today, we face a public health crisis with the COVID-19 pandemic. As a licensed physician, Fapas would bring the requisite knowledge to the US Senate to formulate policies that would address current and future health care issues.

Finally, as a practicing immigration attorney, Fapas will put partisan politics aside to resolve our immigration crisis.
