gang rape is different thing entirely. approach of state government is wrong, having defensive skill is one rape prevention strategies. defensive skill alone without other measures will create more problems.

Well,I think this is a welcome development by the state government, it will help in reducing rape cases in the state,some european countries do train their youth on self defence as well

I think the problem is more psychological than physical. Parents should talk to their boys.

The boys too should go and learn. Both species should be strong. No one should be a prey of another.

In Nigeria today. Everyone should be a martial artist. Everyone should own a gun. Everyone should have some spiritual support.

Rape, kidnapping, armed robbery, ritual killings, etc will decline if everyone is armed. Even the dare-devil armed robber will think twice before attacking your quarters. Your own arms, joined to that of your neighbours who'll come to your support, will deter them.
