Life Coach Solomon Buchi Encourages Selflessness In Marriage by ednawande2580: 2:03pm On Jul 19, 2020
A life and relationship coach, Solomon Buchi has encouraged couples to look beyond the concept of having one as the ultimate head of the union by adopting and upholding selflessness in marriage.

In a short Twitter thread, Buchi pointed out that the Christian concept of marriage says two people shall become one.

This is according to the Bible passage Mark 10 verse 8-9 (KJV) which states;

“….and the two shall become one flesh; so then they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.”

He encouraged that in marriage, a man and a woman should drop their egos, come together in harmony, love, and unity.

Buchi opined that if selfless love and harmony is imbibed in a marriage, there would not be a need for ‘a head’ in the home.

The life coach explained that two persons becoming one in marriage, according to Christian doctrine, means that you see your partner as yourself and that what you want for yourself, you wish for them.

He stressed that in marriage, if partners are truly one, they would have mutual respect and serve each other from a place of selfishness even as regards responsibilities in the home.

Buchi stated that the process of becoming one implies that nobody is in ultimate control but just two humans doing every selfless thing they can do to be happy together.

What are your thoughts on Buchi’s perspective
