This is now a loggers paradise. I hope Enugu has good soil and not the type that erosion prone.

If the trees are cut down and forest cleared, the risk of gully erosion will arise.

In Anambra State and most of the South East States, citizens drill borehole for their water supply, engage vigilante for their protection, buy generator for their power supply, pay virtually for everything ranging from school fees, hospital bills, sanitation bills... Some towns for example Oraukwu town in Anambra State, indigenes construct roads leading to their respective mansions

The only thing an average Igbo man wants from their respective State govt is just good roads and a good waste management but unfortunately our state govt lacks the will to do just these 2 things.

I keep asking myself what exactly do these people intend to achieve by making lives difficult for people.
I don't know about the north, but this is the case most likely in all states in the South. We do virtually everything for ourselves, and sometimes even pay taxes for the boreholes we drill with our own monies!

It is just pathetic. Our governments have failed us at all levels, from infrastructure to security.

Everyone seems to be excited about this but theres one critical question no one seems to be asking: Was an EIA carried out before doing this?

A revolution is impossible in this country because of our diversity. An igbo man would kick against it if an igbo man is President, Vice or head of NASS. A Yoruba man would kick against it if one of theirs heads any of those positions, and so would a Hausa man and any other tribe out there.

We are too ethnocentric to come together to pursue a common course of that nature.

Nice one ! . . .but he should not forget to install street lights on the long stretch of road "across the thick forest" and also station Police Patrol Vans at select points along the road if not . . .prepare enough space for the gory tales of robbers and kidnappers on that stretch of road that will flood the internet undecided

It is commendable to build roads in the state, but it never commendable to build roads inside the forests especially roads that are for public use.

The primary point is that the roads now pose as an endangerment to wildlife.

We are divided because we want to be divided

There's no country in the world where there aren't different tribes in a nation, they all know what's right and work towards achieving it, it's win win for all of us if we demand dividend of democracy and hold these mofos accountable, local Govt chairman, Councillor, rep, senate, governors etc

But when you plan these protests, some idiots close to the idiots will leak the secret and those ones too will contract police to end lives / disperse protesters

When police men start getting shot, then they'll realize we are serious, one of the major barriers of having a successful protest / revolution is overzealous police officers who want to please oga, with the hopes they'd get promotion or cash gifts in return

Not too long ago a police man trended for days, he was accused of several crimes against humanity, from torture to outright disappearance of his victims and real life murder

That guy works with a current governor, the issue trended for days and then died down

We are not serious in this country
