So here's it: Most inventions & discoveries are incidental. That is, the inventors/discoverers have no cookbook path to the solutions they seek. They just try,try,try.

The whole process is an iterative-experimental cycle.
Some of which exposes humanity to harm. However, at times great things come out of many of these processes.
