Dominican officials announced to reopen Dominica Island for tourism in August. Hon Minister for Tourism, International Transport and Maritime Initiatives, Denise Charles was in discussion and released a press release saying, ‘Dominica’ would reopen its borders for foreign visitors on August 7. He also added in his statement, that the travelers arriving in the country would strictly follow the new health and safety protocols in order to prevent the spread of Coronavirus. And the prerequisite like this- Tourists arriving at the island nation must be tested COVID-19 negative prior 24 to 72 hours of arrival. Also, they must complete an online questionnaire for at least 24 hours in advance. In addition to negative reports of COVID-19, tourists will have to undergo a series of tests, including rapid test screening.
