Oba would not mandate anyone or group to disgrace an electoral candidate much less a sitting governor. This Oba is a former long term Nigerian ambassador. He knows protocol.

Miscreants probably just got wind Obaseki was going to the palace and gathered outside the gate. Anybody is free to gather there.
