Imagine FG going to a bar, drinking and ''more money for my pocket'' is the sound track blasting from the big speakers there.

Just my thoughts...

The day most of us in this country will say no to election rigging and choose credible leadership, then we can clean out sweat from our four head.

In Nassarawa, PDP was divided between the then governor and the secretary to the government in Abuja. As such the party was in a weak state.

Kwara too had the same issue, then Saraki defected to APC, and gutted the pdp Kwara badly.

As for Benue,in addition to divisions, the 2015 election was a referendum on Suswam, not a vote for GEJ or Buhari.

Also, PDP made gains in the south west in 2015.
wow... I wasnt following the news then.... Thanks sir

Are you saying your leaders didn't work to help buhari win the 2015 elections?

Are you saying your people didn't call PDP Igbo party?

Wow, you people are already denying.
I can post quotes from 2015 where I lambasted Buhari. We Yorubas are not herd voters, we vote who we want. from the facts I posted South west did not determine anything. we own the media in the SW and can twist the narrative. wise people know the media is being used to overstate the importance of Tinubu. Tinubu in Lagos could not ginger 75% of registered voters to come out to vote. Enough of tribal politics and generalization.

Have you been consulted to help convince Nigerians on this clearly illegal duty? Even if it's 1 kobo, this government doesn't deserve such cos it's getting too much. You pay land use on your property, you pay personal income tax, you pay VAT, you pay stamp duty on bank transactions! At the end of the day, the government can't spend the money judiciously. It makes no sense.

Can't wait for APC and their curse of suffering to leave

Buhari brought suffering as a military admin. I wonder how anyone thought it will turn out different a second and third time

The main reason why PDP lost power in 2015 was because they lost middle belt states like Kwara, Nassarawa and Benue

Which were lost due to internal division in the PDP branches there.

Had GEJ won those three states , he would have left power on may 29 2019. The Yoruba vote won't have mattered at all except in Kwara

Also taxes are going up because oil our major earner is not earning us enough money now. Even if GEJ had won in 2015 , we would have had to raise taxes. Oil has been falling since 2014, and we have had times when it was blow$30 per barrel, when we need it to be at least $100 per barrel because of our large population.

And no, this is not a defence of Buhari. Buhari even knows what to do to take us better economically but because it involves taking some politically unpopular decisions, he won't do it.

Don't blame for generalizing.

I saw how your people brazenly defended buhari until fasoranti's daughter died.

What are u trying to prove with this? Are u aware that there are over 100million Nigerians paying rent and lease on multiple properties? Multiply that with the money equivalent of 0.78.

total vote cast in south west is not even up to APC votes in north west. so how yoruba take determine who won

Over 2 million yorubas voted buhari.

That proves my point that the yorubas aided in bringing buhari to power.

You brought destruction on southern Nigeria.

My question is apart from adding income into the government purse, whats the benefits of stamp duties, what exactly is a *stamp duty "?.

Just read about it but i must say the rate is too high in Nigeria compared to other climes.

Whether buhari would have won or not is not the issue.

The issue is, your people aided with over 2 million votes and that is enough to know the intent if the region.

Just as you could use the number of votes of the other southern regions to know their intent and desired candidates.

While you have every right to vote your preferred Candidate, we cannot take away the fact that your people aided buhari.

There is a table of worked example of how you can calculate Stamp Duty on your own and not be cheated by your landlord
Somebody rents a house with struggle and must pay stamp duty to the government on the house he suffered to rent.... Some people who call themselves leaders have their heads turned upside down

You got it right, that is their aim, they are not satisfied with the ones they are looting already

Coronavirus has affected jobs, many tenants are ready to be evicted by their landlords/landladies.
Yet they want us to be paying stamp duty on rents. Actual money for rent sef , we never get.

Banks are already deducting this from our accounts. Very soon we would be paying stamp duty on foods we purchase now. May God help us.
