Cooking gas is either propane or butane or mixture of both. In the case of Nigeria, we use butane whereas countries like United States use propane.
So you can do yourself a favour by reading up on butane and the dangers if not properly handled.

Bro many cooking gas company now sell propane to their customers as butane mostly those that sell in the shop prefer buying propane because it's very cheap and they will still sell at same price with butane, na only GOD go help us in nigeria

Have really hated this gas of a thing especially cooking gas being in my home, I would really make a change immediately and dismantle the cooking gas and switch to electric and kerosene! The govt should be blamed 4 all this, the govt if they had provided us with the 24hrs electricity people won't be looking 4 alternatives like this deadly cooking gas! This news barely happen in countries with 24hrs light, since they all have their electric cookers, kettles, boilers everything is electric and is a little safer than gas!
