1. Is the community close to a GenCo, TransCo or DisCo power station? It has been observed that if your apartment is not far from a major power station, the possibility is high that you will enjoy power supply and vice-versa, other things being equal. They usually want to satisfy their host communities.

2. Are most houses in the area metered or not? By research, it has been found that communities with high rates of metering enjoy regular power supply than others without meters. The power operators know that for them to realize significant revenue from such communities, they have to supply them significant amount of power.

3. Are houses in your new community not perpetual debtors? If they are, forget about regular power supply, vice-versa.

4. Do you have big politicians and Corporate Executives living in the area? A politician like an LG Chairman, Senator, Federal Rep or any other influential one will help ensure there is constant power supply in your area. This may sound odd or funny but it is true here.

5. Are you ready to pay for power supply? If you have secured your new apartment/house based on the first four questions above and your answer to this number five is YES, you will enjoy power supply, vice-versa.
