In most of these agitation, some influential people are always in the background, feeding them propaganda, by the time a deal is struck, this unknown influential people will have the biggest cut while the masses that were on the street get close to nothing. It's a cycle, the people are just pawn to |

Fret not O ye Niger Deltans, your peaceful agitations have served their purpose and the man who brokered the peace that ushered the cessation of hostilities has vowed to once again rise and act on behalf of that matter most. The People. All hail Professor Osinbajo.

MajorOvakporaye: Embittered soul, why this? He is not a Minister of Petroleum, but your President is.Indomie generations-learn nothing, forget everything! When the President was away, for three months, during his first term,Osinbade,as you called him, was all over South East and South-South,bringing Peace to all your regions. All the people came out and embraced the peace you are enjoying there today.Don't forget there is Oil in Lagos and Ondo too. He is not from Niger-Delta,yet because you woke up from wrong side of the bed this morning, you could not ask your leaders there why they were not patriotic enough to give the place the 'BEST',afterall, Dubai na desert turned to World Best. Na wa for you o! |

TheRareGem1:Your claim isn't related to what I am talking about because your post has to do with the collaboration the UN has with the federal government in regards to the negligence in environmental clean up due to the oil spillage that has destroyed their water bodies and cause untold hardship to the people of ogoni land. I have had several engagement with the people of ogoni land, in no way have they said or seen the federal government doing clean up in their respective communities. Please you need to see things on ground not just writings on newspaper or articles creating deception here and there. There are so many federal roads leading to various communities in ogoni land through eleme, most are in a very deplorable state. Why is the people of ogoni land calling for an independent state as we speak? |

onyechez: The roads are not federal roads..I have friends who live there and among people people working over there. Bottom line is, we have a government that is up and doing.. stepping up to the occasion...just give them kudos. You don't understand what it takes to have land and you can't have access to water, fishing and even farming ...due to oil spillage. |

SoftP:The money that is embezzled at NDDC and the 13% oil derivation giving to this NigerDelta state plus the monthly allocation should be enough to make our region better than some European countries, but na our people still dey steal (embezzle the money), giving outrageously overbloated contract they will still abandone.. Militant will not saying anything about this cos them too dey collect their share, living the real NigerDelta masses to suffer... |
