>>The Grail Message By Abd Ru Shin( Greatest of All Books I have ever read in my entire lifetime. The only reason why I have not smoked some people out or practice extreme Magic is this book because even before you proceed you know the outcome)

I just started reading the 48 Laws of Power too. Being a born-again Christian doesn't necessarily mean you can't be inspired by other books.
I get you, truly I do. I read the 48laws of power cover to cover more than 15times(I'm not joking nor am I exaggerating) I applied it and it works like magic.
But upon my knowing the Lord, and my striving to follow his ways, most, infact all of those laws negates the true character of a bloodwashed, heaven bound Christian. The Bible is an all round manual on the life and character of a true Christian.

I have a small private library and have read a few books, but none has influenced me as much as Antifragile by Nicholas Nassim Taleb.

The principles from the book can be applied to every aspect of life.

My dear, there is no lover of reading and knowledge that bypasses James Hadley’s work especially as a young man/ woman in secondary school. Just that the op said “BOOK THAT CHANGED YOUR LIFE”. James work is great but it’s not life changing.
narit:
Looks like there are quite lots of readers on Nairaland. Sadly I can't see any one inspired by the great James hardley chase......

"The Dead Stay Dumb"

" You're Lonely When You Are Dead"

" I Will Rather Stay Poor"

" You Never Know With Women"

All by Hardley chase.

It's only in Nigeria where bible is changing people's lives, yet it's not reflecting or having any positive impact on the Nation and its citizens.
Read books that will widen your knowledge about life.
Everyone to what suits them anyways.

There he goes off tangent again. Get some discipline, your loose tongue will put you in trouble.

You can not be reading 48 laws of power and the Bible at the same time.

As for me Gifted Hands is one of the best book I've read.

The OP didn't ask for religious books. Those of you mentioning Bible and Qur'an should stop it. We know these books are great but he wasn't asking about them.
