I only 'shot myself' in your eyes. Reading newspapers, articles, biographies, editorials from childhood, made me a 'bank' of information on history and politics. It gave me an insight to the aetiology of political events and happenstances.

All my political predictions have come to pass with more than 92% accuracy including Buhari's presidency. I keep the records.

That's why I tell you with great conviction that the next president won't be yoruba. It is realism not emotionalism.
I do not know but you seem like a lively and funny person. let me know what you have against Tinubu, by your " assertion" of being an expert in politics, you should know he has the right to contest, so let me know your grievances against him.

Tinubu would contest in 2023 and there is nothing you guys can do but cry.
I don't give a damn about useless politicians in Nigeria, but just look at how you are disgracing yourself with certainty of Tinubu contesting as if you are God!! Abba kyari and Isa funtua said more than this! Smh

According to your reasoning, Igbos are the poor ones abi or are we talking of a different Nigeria.

Yes, we forget so early and so much in Nigeria. There was once OPC led by Adams who went the street-way in there agitation to protect Yoruba ethnic group; there was Niger Delta militants who went rouge in there quest to be heard; there was/is Boko Haram currently waging war on Nigeria state for no clear reasons; Miyetti Allah and Fulani herdsmen are making troubles and daring anyone; but once IPOB does the same street-type agitation it becomes terrorism and all sorts of jibes are lashed on them to discredit them. It is okay not to particularly like someone but if you become joined in venture or marriage, you must give him or her a fair share or the venture is doomed.

Read every danm word from page 1 till here..

2023 will create alot of animosity againt tribes in Nigeria especially south east vs South west..

But why all Yorubas all saying Tinubu is planning something as if they had a conversation with him?

And 90% yoroubas believed Apc was formed by Buhari and Tinubu alone. With the greed of both, I don't think they would ever agree if they weren't other patners.

I have no personal grievance against tinubu. We can all grandstand about 'moving nigeria forward, leadership qualities' etc, but the truth is that Nigeria of potpourri of personal, tribal and regional interests playing out at the different levels.

Tinubu's personal and (by extension) regional interest is unsellable outside his areas of influence. Let's be realistic, it doesn't matter what I want or you want, his chances are not bright. I'll tell you why, he is seen as a regionial leader.

Go back to your books and check your history, no regional leader of southern extraction have EVER made it to aso rock. Ojukwu, Awo, Falae were seen as regional leaders, even if they win their regions, they'll lose at national level.
Zik and OBJ enjoyed cross-regional acceptability and made it to the presidency as southerners. These are realities that we must face.

Currently the only person that comes close as a southerner is OUK, like OBJ he is not very much liked by his own regional base but enjoy acceptability in other regions and in the north, and sometimes that's all that matters as we saw in OBJ's case.

Don't take my word for it, do your own research.

Yorubas are a different breed.

Check the political history right from 1979, the Yorubas have always voted over 85-90% for a Yoruba candidate. They did in 1979, 1983, 1993, 1999, and 2003.

If the contestants are other tribes, the Yoruba votes are always divided and that is where people like you don’t understand Yorubas.

Personally, I will love Osinbajo/Fashola to be on the ballot, but if APC eventually choose Tinubu, then you can be rest assured he will get nothing Less than 85% of the votes in the SW.

When it’s time, everyone will fall in line, even the likes of Bode George and the other Afenifere guys will fall in line.

The initiated are the one that can understand!!
Even 100% of SW alone will not make him president

That is the psychological media hype... what difference has it made to the elections... difference of mere 500k despite Osibanjo on same ticket, while inciting violence in opposition inclined areas?

When did Obasanjo, GEJ come to seek his support?

Buhari only came to seek his support in 2015, in 2019, he vividly saw it was all a ruse, the election result bolstered Buhari's conviction and others aswell. The respect is mere honour of a block of APC.

I can be wasting my time with a political Buffonary....bye-bye .

It is not a question of trust because historically no ethnic group in Nigeria has scored 70% in 'trust' otherwise Nigeria would not have been in a state of mess as it is today. There has been historic backstabbings and still ongoing. You can't speak of instability/mistrust and talk of Igbos unless you are not student of history.

The person who allowed APC is not Buhari or Tinubu but Jonathan. AND PLEASE REMEMBER THAT MAN CAN NEVER BE GOD.

Oh.. really?
After GEJ shared dollars, went to virtually all traditional rulers for blessing and postponing election just to form fake General to make it look like he cares about the war against boko haram.

Face it. That dull GEJ was desperate but he just didnt understand politics. Again he surrounded himself with poor strategists

The book is in it's last chapters my friend.

As I pointed out in one of the chapters, telling a yorubaman the bitter truth may automatically make him your enemy even when you mean well for him. They are not very good with realism, but are generally 'utopian idealist' good at romanticizing with sweetened falsehoods in the face of obvious alternative truisms and factoids.

These are no lies my friend.

This ur phase just describe a typical Igbo man I swear. That is why KANU was able to manipulate a lot of them.

Do you know that plenty Igbos believe that Buhari is dead?

I know OUK is a nationalist but the way your people have been attacking Tinubu on all social media outlet is alarming and that does not show any civility especially to a man that has not made his intention known officially.
Nigeria politics is funny sometimes, there are times when people vote for party without even acknowledging the candidate and some other times people vote for candidate irrespective of the party, when I was in the East a dullard fielded by PDP will comfortably win a professor from any other party, this is because people vote along party line and care less about individuals although the narrative is changing a little now.
how do you convince an average Hausa on the streets of kano or katsina that OUK is a nationalist, all they see is an Igbo man, unless we want to shy away from the truth, I think we should watch as event unfold, Nigerian politics is sweeter than an Hollywood flick.

Yes, I am a Nigerian and perfectly understands the status quo. But I think it has come to that point in time where we need to pinch ourselves and say hang on, this joke has been taken too far, or is the status quo okay and fair. What I am saying is that Nigeria should primarily work for 'everyone' not a selected few or particular section of the country.
