Why do parents prefer blame games? Rather than seeking solution to a problem or solving it instantly if possible, in the family; this is most especially when it involves their children. Nigerian parents are perfect at this, most times the fault could be their's but they'll keep blaming and focusing on the mistake rather than focusing on solutions.

Let's talk. What do you think about this?

That's how it is here. In Nigeria, parents are demigods. They can do no wrong and they are always right.

That's how most Nigerians and blacks are wired. We are gifted when it comes to buck passing.

Parents blame their kids and the Kids blame their parents too when their lives turn out badly.

Go to South Africa and Ghana, they are blaming Nigerians. In the US, U.K, France etc. our black brothers are blaming the whites.

Na so Buhari/APC sef take blame Jonathan/PDP for good 5 years. The blame just recently shifted to Corona virus this 2020. GEJ can rest now.

That's the society we find ourselves in.

Children are trained not to question the actions of their parents. They should just take whatever is thrown at them that's why Nigeria is filled with citizens that can't question the government and hold them accountable for their actions

Apportioning blames are part of our system in this part of the World

We blame each other for any failure from one side

But I believe it is to make you a better person

Our parents expect good deeds and conducts from us, so once there is any mistake, they will blame you and if their is success, they will use you to judge others

They don't want to know that we are doing the same exam in the same subject but different question arrangement

All they want is good result

But the good thing is that, because of the fear of getting blamed, we put in more effort and get a better result

Just like one Mom that her grown up daughter feel down while coming down the stairs at GTBank and she was just shouting 'what happened, can't you see' I was surprised it was I and other people that helped the lady pick her phone, bag and got her up.

It's so fucking pathetic.....

When they make the same mistake, they won't shout at themselves.....they will only give excuse.....

Alot of parents really need psychological check up and training .....

Any little thing they beat the child ....meanwhile it's easier to hold the child close and point out and teach the child the right thing

Well, I questioned everything.....

I needed good reasons to do something and not because you're an elder that's why I should do it

Yeah.....

Before a person becomes a parent, he or she must sign some undertaking and run some psychological test to ensure they don't abuse their children....

In no way does assault on the children help....it only makes the children more secretive and they hide more
