The Presidency has reacted to the protests by members of the #RevolutionNow movement in parts of the country.

Speaking during his appearance on Sunrise Daily on Thursday, the President’s Special Adviser, Femi Adesina, dismissed the demonstration by the protesters.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3y3F0m7GA8M

“Well, was it really a protest? By my estimation, that just seemed like a child’s play because protests by their very nature are spontaneous things; they are mass things,” he said on the Channels Television’s breakfast programme.

The President’s spokesman added, “I just saw a sprinkle of people trying to be funny. As far as I am concerned, it is nothing to worry about because when you talk of a revolution, a revolution is always a mass thing.

“Not the sprinkle of young boys and girls you saw yesterday in different parts of the country. I think it was just a funny thing to call it a protest and a revolution protest.”

‘The Country We Get’

Dozens of youths had taken to strategic areas in Abuja and Lagos, among other parts of the country in protest to demand the resignation of the present administration.

Among the various issues raised, the protesters said the government has failed to tackle the security challenges in the country and provide jobs for unemployed youths.

In his reaction, Adesina insisted that there was never a revolution march and the action of the youths was a mere child’s play.

According to him, revolutions, by their nature, are quite well-known and the government has been living up to its responsibilities.

The President’s spokesman said, “Revolution is something that turns the normal order; what happened yesterday, would you call it a revolution? It was just an irritation; it was just an irritation and some people want to cause irritation in the country.”

“And what I will say is that when things boil over, they boil over because you continue to heat them. So, Nigerians need to know that the country we get is what we used our own hands to build.”

Of course authoritarian Cults do not tolerate protest and criticism so its only natural that Civil protest (A Universal Human Right) are punishable offences under tyrannical Cult regimes, which buhari's Satanic Cult belong to.
When this fulani regime is overthrown, all members of the evil regime will be rounded up, arrested and tried for crimes againts humanity.

We have 82,000,000 Nigerians living under 1$ a day, against 1,000 politicians and 500,000 police+army+ every armed forces in Nigeria most of them joined military because of poverty and hunger.

When you people are tired you will come out and protest without waiting for sowore, if 82 million people storm govmt house at once they don't have enough bullets to shoot them or enough cells to lock them in, they will hold Buhari or whichever governor they chose and give him the Ghaddafi treatment the King Louis and Marie Antoinette of France treatment

Until then enjoy your poverty, my cowardly Nigerians who prefer to die of Diabetes and malaria than to die fighting against a repressive regime

If you add middle class and poor to the number of those Extremely poor living under 1$ a day you can do anything.

If only the extreme poor, all contribute 100 naira per month they'd make 82 billion naira per month enough to give professionals to start any business they want and give part of the profit back to the poor investors.

With 82 million extremely poor people behind you, You can start your own brand new country, you can take over an existing country, basically any country at all in Africa, and everywhere else on earth except China, USA and India, Togo has a population of 8million, Ghana has 31million imagine 82million Nigerians march into Togo unarmed the border security, their police won't be able to do sh!+ We can peacefully elect a Yoruba Nigerian as president of Togo or any black short man named John as president of ghana and wreck or develop those countries, you can topple a Government you can take over a business or start a new one anything at all you all agree to but unfortunately we are Nigerians too scared to die

Religion has taught us to blame the devil and pray to God, a goat broke into your house and is eating your yam instead of taking the goat away from the yam, you blame the devil and fall to your knees and pray to God to stop the goat from eating your yam

Akpabio is corrupt instead removing him from NDDC we make jokes and say God will punish him but he is the goat eating the yam,
Boko haram is eating our yam(people's life's and properties and lands) we do nothing we pray and blame devil if only 10million people armed with knives and guns enter zambisa tell me Chibok girls wouldn't have been found?

We Nigerians aren't smart after all.

He's partially right though. If we truly mean to protest, we need form a movement first and have a front. At this time, many Nigerians are not convinced we require a change.

Basic problem is not that Nigerians don't want change, but that Nigerians wantr change on their own terms.

Of the opposition as constituted

1.One part wants to go into power so that they can continue chopping money
2.One part wants to divide the country
3.One part wants a 'revolution' which means anything from violent//new party/etc
4.Then there are the 'restructure the country' which may overlap with no1....and whose vision for restructuring varies from y to z
5.Then there are those who have given up.

Then the government supporters are just happy with the chopping.

Modified...All the oppositon does is fight among themselves.

2.By the way, all of you opposed to Buhari, have you joined a party? Even PDP, so that you can achieve your goals. Crying for revolution on this website or crying for Biafra on this website, and doing nothing about it practically....you are proving Mr Adesina right.
The problem is changing Nigeria is not a simple formula.

Verdict : This bagger just indirectly called Nigerians stupid, what he meant to say was "Nigerians can't hold a protest that can shake them"
