Who is talking about power when he has the influence his sworn enemies can't deny.
As "powerful" as OBJ is,he still can't wield the same amount of influence like Tinubu in the SW .

I like that part. His so-called influence begins and ends in the SW.

Boss Mustapha - SGF
Abdulrahman - Governor

All of these names represent a small fraction of Tinubu loyalists that dominate Nigerian politics; at state level, there are literally several dozens of key loyalists, not to mention tons of very cerebral folks like Fola Arthur-Worrey, Leke Pitan, Yemi Cardoso etc that have not even been deployed yet.

Tinubu is of course not without his share of corruption, but you have got to at least grudgingly admire how he has managed to make several men in Nigerian politics.

Isn't that Ekweremadu the PDP senator?

Tinubu's power and influence is not limited to the APC, it's National and worldwide.

Tinubu receives US Black Mayors’ highest award

Nigeria has what it takes to become the renaissance beacon for African development if a dedicated leadership is in a place to lift country out of the precarious situation it now finds itself.

Former Governor of Lagos State and national leader of the opposition Action Congress of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu made this assertion while receiving an award by the National Conference of Black Mayors, based in America in his office.

The National Conference of Black Mayors in America at its 38th annual convention which held recently in Atlanta Georgia awarded Bola Tinubu the association’s highest award, the President’s Award.

Vanessa Williams, the Executive Director of the National Conference of Black Mayors in America while presenting the award to former governor of Lagos State Asiwaju Tinubu in Lagos said the choice of Tinubu was based on merit.

“We searched for Africans leaders who have made great impact in linking African-Americans with Africans towards positive development and you emerged as one of such”.

Venessa Williams, the daughter of the first black speaker of the state of Nevada revealed that the association had followed the stewardship of Asiwaju Tinubu in the areas of support for people in the Diaspora and African –American causes. “You have linked your international experience with national experience to chart a path for development for your people. You fit our bill of leaders who think locally, but act globally and we thank you”. Miss Williams made special mention of Asiwaju Tinubu’s knack for finding, developing and empowering a new generation of leaders at all levels of government.

Asiwaju Tinubu while receiving the President’s Award thanked the National Conference of Black Mayors of America for the recognition awarded him. “African-Americans and Nigerians are the same in their crusade to achieve freedom and liberty. We must work together to elevate our people. We share a common aspiration in the struggle to eradicate poverty and give hope to our people. Tinubu further added that Martin Luther King, a crusader extraordinary has shown us the way. The national leader of the Action Congress of Nigeria told Venessa Williams that he did not go into politics for want of anything except to give hope and elevate the standard of living of my people.

Like it or not, this man is the greatest politician that ever come's out of african. A single man that has the vice president, senate president, depurty senate president and speaker as his boys including some state governors, ministers, embassadoors and special advisers, even wike that is so vocal and insultive has never dere using abusive words on him, there is no single human that is loyal to this man that has not make it in life, yet he was just a governor of a state, this man is and would surely be the greatest politician that ever emaneted from african.

You forgot to mention that he sponsored the election of the current president of Guinea Conakry - Alpha Conde. Baba dey make control moves.

This is the classiest.

When the British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Sir Paul Thomas Arkwright went to Bourdillon to say goodby to Tinubu after his tour of duty in Nigeria.

When they land in Nigeria, they go to Bourdillon to announce their presence, when they are leaving Nigeria, they go to Bourdillon to say goodby.

This is indeed a good barometer of politics in Nigeria and pointer to its potential direction moving forward.
