Really confusing indeed,
8/2(2+2) = 8/4 + 4=6
8/2(2+2)=8/ 4+4=1

One thing about Mathematics is that, you will have your answer in the options. As it has been proven that the answer is 16, we want to believe that 1, 6 and even 0 will be among the options.

my own ansa na 1 but i always feel that one day this problem will arise.

People just like to dey complicate things.

2(2+2) is the same as 2 OF (2+2)

So 8÷ 2(2+2) is the same as 8 ÷ 2 OF (2+2)

1. You can't do DIVISION before OF according to BODMAS ( note that ORDER is not applicable here). Hence ,Bracket OF instead of Bracket ORDER

2 Also, MULTIPLICATION comes before DIVISION in PEMDAS

3. The major operator of the expression is DIvision according to the bracket since
(8÷2)(2+2) is not the same as 8÷ 2(2+2)

Na 16 be the answer
The 4 will be multiplied by the figure in the bracket
