B3ACHSIDE:
It's the obligation of government to enact and enforce laws and policies to protect it's citizens and economy. The ball is ultimately on the Government's court, not the foreign corporation. Nigeria either has no laws or isn't enforcing them.
There are a few laws and policies I can think of : 1) All foreign corporations must employ at least 60 percent indigenous staffs from the immediate locality. 2) health & safety regulations - must provide health insurance and periodic safety training for all staff . 3. Government reserves the right to regulate the minimum wage . 4. Abuse of staff would incur heavy fine or expulsion and seizure of property, including the know-how, so that even if the company leaves , the state or country can continue an independent development.

Even in your region Igbos and foreigners are the ones controlling the economy, go to major markets in Lagos, even industries, you can't say the same in southeast, West has always be rated high on FDI, for example states like Lagos and Ogun always been high on FDI, while Anambra, Abia and other eastern states top in local investments, ask yourself why with the high FDI why Ogun still below Anambra in Norminal GDP, financial transactions by states, Anambra will always top especially in service sector which contribute large to national GDP more than industries.

How three regions account for 71 percent of Nigerian economy

https://businessday.ng/business-economy/article/how-three-regions-account-for-71-percent-of-nigerian-economy/

1. Stop quoting the same old and stale nominal rubbish from 2013, the current stats for anambra is right here below, anambra is inside shallanga with 50% IGR drop.

2. Right now, 3 regions controls 71% of Nigeria's economy.

Lagos

Delta

SW.

3. In theory since Lagos is part of the SW they counted SW twice, meaning the SW is actually responsible for nearly the whole economy of Nigeria.

4. SE is all the way at the bottom struggling with war ravaged North East.

Console yourself with your old and stale irrelevant 2013 nominal rubbish all you want, but apart from the fake and made up consolation nonsense you people peddle on NL, no fact or any stats on the surface of the earth is in favor of the SE.

...but of course, you are free to console yourself, it's a free world.

Otondo you are quoting article writing by ignorant mind like you , dumbo, FDI now measures economy Empty brains from west, so who measure local investors Like Seplat investing $1billion in Imo State , Nestoil investing $ 800 million in his power project in, Anambra, on going Emeka Offor's inland container terminal in Anambra state, on going Innoson new manufacturing plant, the refinary in Imo, the millennium city in Anambra and other projects being executing by local investors, you guys are really empty. You know I'm not interested in your stale, old and irrelevant antic rubbish of zero consequence in 2020 so why bother with the ignorant nonsense?

What people save in their banks in 2015, 5 years ago is their private and personal business, it has nothing to do with regional economy, GDP and IGR in 2020 which you are at the bottom of.

Below NBS stat slearly stated that anambra ia regressing at a massive 50 % drop, it means anambra economy is almost bancrupt and from all the official stats out there today, the SE is at the bottom across the bord.

Poverty rate, you are nowhere to be found.

Employment rate, your are at the bottom

Misery index, you are not leading anywhere

IGR, you are at the bottom

GDP, you are at the bottom.

Dude, stop embarrassing yourself with your worthless and irrelevant antic rubbish, fool your fellow Igbos with that nonsense.

ipob, this is not 2013, this is 2020 and your ipob region is at the bottom of everything.

Your anambra is 50% down the drain and rapidly regressing, they did not generate 1 estra kobo IGR, they are 50% in the RED

Show me any recent 2019-2020 stats that says the SE is leading in anything.

You can not, that's why you keep boring us with old, stale and stone age rubbish.

I'm not mentally ancient and archaic like you, this is 2020, the rest of the world is moving forward,, but you Igbos want to remain in the stone age by any means necessary.

Na by force?
