With that been said I decided to get myself a bike with the remaining money I have pending on when things sterblize (federal/state job or when HV gathered enof Moni for business). If those with family can save 10k weekly, I think I can save 15k weekly since am single and still staying with my parents. I prayed to God for direction Sha but hope my decision isn't bad?

A lil prayer for me won't be bad
Wise decision! Nothing is as good as being your own boss

As long as it's going to fetch you money in a legit way, you will be fine.

You took a great and a wise step! See you at the top!!!

Scholarship as a relocation route is not easy to come by.... Covid damaged loads of things..

Hello guys I don't want to bore you with a long epistle, I recently came back from service (nysc) and found my guys those that didn't even go to school buying lands n building for themselves structures especially the ones riding okada. Most of them do have savings of 10k weekly aside other expenses like feeding, rent etc despite having wife/girlfriends n children.

Though I learnt mason work before going to the university but mason work is seasonal especially during the raining season, have been at home for almost 3wiks doing nothing just spending the little savings I had from service.

Sit down and be comparing yourself with them. They too are looking at you and wishing they were educated ( such is life). Comparing yourself with people is a first step in a long journey of misery. you will never be happy 8f you take that route.

I have lost a few good friends due to this comparison thing. Really smart intelligent people who failed to reach their potential in life because they preferred to sit and be comparing their achievments to others' own. With each small setback they became more bitter and discouraged

See the bigger picture. Don’t give your best years to a country whose economy is horribly managed.

Further your studies on a scholarship outside the country. Nail down a decent job, earn some forex and then set up export oriented investments in Naija.

My two cents. Peace

Most countries are not accepting people at this time.

Never compare.

You've no idea if they envy your degree.

We tend to think very short term in this country.

Envy which degree?

Typical bad belle. So because you went to schl now, thats has automatically gives you leverage or advantage over your un educated friend. What a myopic opinion.
So as ur friend bought a piece of land now, means you won't buy buy urs in d future if you work hard. Don't be unfortunate pls, its people like you that dont wish others around them to be up to them or suceed more than them. Alaye go hustle and leave your friend matter alone. undecided

Education might not give you the money you desire. Still it gives you common sense. Never compare your life with others. Everyone has a different destiny, a different pace and a different purpose.

Hustle your own silently and mind your business.

As a graduate, do not be enticed by quick money and mega sum of money. Saving 15k per week is good but you can also earn better.

Starting with a bike for okada isn't a bad idea, but THINK BIG.

As a graduate, conduct mini market survey (research) on what people need that they find difficult to get and provide such. Challenge your thinking faculty to arrive at a solution to societal problems.

Read about Problem Solving Quality of Leadership. You will be grateful you did 5 years from now.
