There is a need for general overhaul of staffs at the airport with CCTV mounted everywhere. Even to escort your own family to the airport when traveling, you will pay. Most Nigerians sees opportunity as benefiting from a weak system. That's why I always say, it is better to build a strong institution than build a strong man like Mugabe and other African leaders. What Africans are suffering from is strong institution.

Once we have it...white men will rush to come to us and benefit our social justice system.

If you bring in a complete set of new staff I guarantee you after 3 months the new people will also start taking bribes! angry

Just imagine how the love of money is making us risk our country to a very deadly virus such as this. The irony of life is that the man that pays that bribe to you might be the one to come in contact with your spouse elsewhere and infect him/her with the virus.

I would have been surprised if this was NOT happening.

Any restriction in Nigeria is simply a way to make public officials rich. An example is the stupid weekend lockdown that was in Ogun State. What was the purpose? It didn't stop people from moving, it only allowed police and civil defence and every idiot with a uniform to tax the public however they want.

No b naija again?? We find a way to monetize everything. Every and any opportunity is simply converted to a business venture.. If the government itself can monetize covid-19, what do U expect from those in public offices

You have said it all. Even those in government health services has converted it to business venture.

Our hypocrisy will never allow corruption to be killed in Nigeria. Candidly, how many of us here on Nairaland strive to keep our hearts, minds and hands clean? How many of us can beat our chests and say we have never broken a traffic light? How many of us have never given a policeman, medical worker, government official(especially in transport related offices), teachers/lecturers etc, something to buy 'soft drink/kola'? See how we twist reality and hypocritically shout 'government, Buhari, PDP,APC when we are active players! Lets face it, the holy books have told us that we get the kind of leaders that we deserve and nothing will change for good unless we change our ways.

What kind of people are these ones. Corruption and greed has eaten so deep into the hearts of many. Do we now say Nigeria is irredeemable?

No day depressing news about bribery, corruption, accidents, murder, disasters ,won't grace the front page of nairaland forum. It is quite terrible.

Money Money...

This is really sickening, the problem is that Nigerians were not brought up to be patriotic, majority of us reading and commenting here would gladly accept 100k from 10 people every day with smiles on the faces not minding the consequences of their actions.

Due to the poverty and greedy mindset of the average Nigerian, we will feel so comfortable accepting such money. The leaders are really not the problem but it is you and I reading this.

We have a collective responsibility to build our nation, there are so many countries even in Africa that will reject such money due to national interest.

Integrity is the problem here

Know it's the decay in leadership that caused this.It is pyscological humans tend to emulate and learn from their leaders.corruption eradication start from the leaders doing the right thing remember if a head is rotten what do you expect the body to do grin

Program-based learning should give access to facts, training, devices and resources that aid customers enhance their financial knowledge, so that they can manage their financial plans in understanding and with confidence. I can get to know about film analysis assignment from them in the free course of time. We aim to achieve these goals with specific programs that help young people, in particular, embrace the rotation of the long-term financial system.
