A 13 year-old boy allegedly abused by his father and stepmothers, has been rescued by the police in Borno state.

Humanitarian worker, Junaid Jibril Maiva, who shared the story online, said Aminu’s mother and father are separated and he had to stay with his father. The father and his other wives forced him to sleep in a dingy room beside a gutter and denied him food and other basic needs.

The police acting on a tip-off stormed the father's home in Baga Road in Maiduguri the state capital and rescued him.

The father and his wives are now in police custody.

Junaid in a post shared on his Facebook page, wrote

''It is heartbreaking and annoying how parents now a days treat their own child. This thirteen year old child was denied any form of parental support and shelter simply because his mother was divorced.

He was forced to sleeps in verandah beside a gutter without foods, clothes, talk less of net to protect him from malaria and other diseases.
Mallam Murtala from Mobbar LGA now living in Baga road Maiduguri confessed that he and his wives had thrown the child and serves him food once daily.

During investigation by management of National Human Rights Commission lead by Barr Jummai Mshelia accompanied by E-D WINN Madame Lucy Dlama ,it was gathered that the child (Aminu) step mothers always beat him without a reason.

When Aminu was served food, Spaghetti and stew to be precise, he ate like a hungry lion, it is disheartening and heart breaking seeing this child eating empty spaghetti without touching the stew, an indication that he had not seen stew for long. All this because his mother is not in the house.

After documentation, Barr Jummai lead team will take the child for more medical support.

What sort of wickedness is this for God's sake. How can a father do this to his biological child, his flesh and blood?? This is the height of wickedness

The boy is now malnourished. He can barely walk cry. May God punish as many involved in this.

The level of parents maltreating their wards in the north is becoming alarming. Is it as a result of ignorance, illiteracy, wickedness or outright stupidity undecided

I guess that its only this era of social media that these things are coming out into the open. .

And they are shouting about insecurity in the North! If this one escape and joins boko haram, he will be merciless in killing anybody and everybody! Unfortunately there are many like him either almajiris without care or in their fathers houses but raised with serious brutality undecided

So whose descendant is this one?

reported brutality meted out to a 10-year-old girl by her guardians in Enugu has further exposed the plight of many children in Nigeria. According to reports, a couple, Mr. Jude and Mrs. Ifeoma Ozougwu, not only burnt Nneoma Nnadi’s belly, back, and buttocks with hot electric iron, they also allegedly drilled a six-inch nail into her head. They were also said to have inserted hot red pepper into her private part and locked her in the toilet. Nneoma was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit of the Enugu State University of Technology Teaching Hospital for treatment.”

Past NYSC DG'S response to the financial complaints of Nigerian youths

The NYSC's Director Generals in recent times have encouraged Youth corpers to desist from relying solely on the monthly allowances from the Federal Government's reserve as they have proved minimal over the years owing to the incessant complaints from preceding corpers.
Other complaints that have gotten to the ears of Management Staff include the ill-luck of numerous Youth corpers during service, pinning down to the organization in question that they served at. Many have described their service year as a waste of time relating it to the ridiculous amount of money aquired during service.
Thus, Youth Corpers have been sensitised on the common reality of serving at a place lower than expectation and how they can tackle the dilemma. Public activists and Youth empowerment institutions have further encouraged Corpers to engage in convenient side hustles, preferably online based, if they are too displeased with the events at hand, because the Nigerian government has proved incompetent over the years, hence, cannot be relied upon.
Certain business Organisations have further displayed interests in the idea and given their full support through investment incentives and convenient online jobs offered on a platter of gold. Recharge And get Paid VTU Agency, Cryptocurrency institutions, and WordPress are prominent examples of companies bidding aspiring youths to invest in them with minimal funds and get rewards of incentives, job offers and international trips. A very notable effort at remedying the prospective damages of the Federal Government's laxity towards it's youth.
Thousands of Nigerian youths have enjoyed, and are still enjoying these incentives offered by online institutions such as the aforementioned.
National Youth Service Corpers and Nigerian youths in General are advised to invest in online companies of these nature with minimal funds, get registered and start up online based ventures, hence becoming their own enterpreneurs while making sure to always remember that they are truly the leaders of tommorow.
Miss. Ochem Ifeoma, the Team leader of Gift Sketches RAGP group gives words of wisdom to Nigerian Youths...
..... in quote; " To climb up the pedestal of wealth, place the first foot..

THIS MESSAGE IS NOT DIRECTED TO ONLY SERVICE CORPS MEMBERS, BUT NIGERIAN YOUTHS IN GENERAL.

Beyond the expectations of the evil father and step mothers God preserved this beautiful young soul.
Governor Zulum will definitely see to justice for the seemingly helpless.

God be praised!
