Hi everyone, my AOR was on 1 October 2020. I am still waiting for medicals passed update/biometrics invite...does anyone have an idea when I should expect these? I was hoping to receive within 30 days of submitting my application.

Also, is it true that applicants who claim sibling points have their applications processed faster?

Please I have been trying to pay for IQAS for over 2 weeks now. I try to pay by 4:15pm Nigerian time (8:15am Mountain time) but the site is always so slow cause everyone is trying to pay or register at the same time.

Considering paying with bank draft but I don't know the process. Please advise

It is 3:15pm o. Not 4:15.
I have been trying to do same. Just get on the link before like 3pm and then keep refreshing until 3:15. You’ll get a headway.

Please can you put me through the IQAS thing too? After payment, what is next?

For BC, you wont see your TRF number online. result comes out 2 weeks after taking the exam (paper-based test). You can go to their Office to pick up your TRF (hardcopy) after release of result.

Pick up? Please what about people outside Lagos? We all go there to pick up?

Good morning guys.
Does anyone have the format of recommendation from previous employer to prove years of experience where cashed was paid? I've searched all over the thread and found nothing.

Is it true IRCC will giving 30 additional points to those with Canadian education ? Some said it’s a technical glitch, while some said they have already got additional points .

What particular error? Are you sure she's not uploading more than the required size.

You can also try other browsers or formats (pdf).

You can also try using hellofax. I am not conversant with that so ask others or check onn Google or YouTube how to use it.

Oh, what I'm trying to actually find out is if the points can be claimed when the person lands, even if his pr is being processed.

Hello MamaHeaven,

The person must be a PR/Citizen.

All the best

You CAN'T claim points with her profile if she doesn't have PR yet....however you can enter the pool and keep upgrading your chances and score through the different defined channels..until she gets the PR then you can update your profile accordingly and claim the extra 15 sibling points..

Okay thanks... What about if I get to learn French language. The simulation I did with the CRS app you can't add both IELTS and French to sum up ur score, seems you must pick 1. So if I max IELTS without simblibg support my score would be like 468 or 470 bkaux I dont intend waiting for her. I'm thinking of taking French so it can sum it up to 478 or 480 but the App dosent acknowledge 2 languages. Is that how its been done that I must select between IELTS or French or its just the app faults, taking French with IELTS would can go.. Pls nairalanders enlighten me on this??

Hello LeProfeseurJean,

LeProfeseurJean:
I submitting documents now but my WES hardcopy report is not yet with me can I use d soft copy that they sent me or I must wait to get d hardcopy

The soft copy will suffice.

LeProfeseurJean:
The Loe for the WES report can I upload it together with d report on that section or its wrong to add anything in the section apart from the report.
I'll appreciate your guidance

You can always merge as a PDF. But why do you need LOE for WES?!

All the best

Hallos. Here are the steps. Go to UAE website. Fill a form and download the finger print paper. Go to police station, do your fingerprint. Police verifies it. Go to the UAE commission, embassy in Abuja. They stamp it. Mail to Dubai police dept (i guess the ministry of interior). I hope this helps. Shalom
That's what we've done so far. I guess they are wrong to be turning us away at the UAE embassy but I have argued tire. I will just carry on and see how it goes. Thank you so much for your help and thanks to your friend too

30 points for those with a degree or 3years diploma. Unless they do a specific draw for theses CEC guys, crs will not drop for now. People with Canadian education that are in 450/460s are much . Imagine a lot us that struggled to hit 470+. Crazy time.

Wrong.
Check again. You can do both IELTS and TEF
Why do you think some people are running around to learn French?
Because only ielts is not enough for them!
Check the cic website and do another simulation

There has been no official communication regarding this and the change seems like a bug on the CRS score calculator . But on profiles scores have not been updated . Hopefully we’ll hear from them tonight

Stating mode of payment is not a requirement in the ref letter, best to leave it out. Don't shoot yourself in the leg lipsrsealed lipsrsealed

Hi,
When you land in Canada with COPR....you have attained PR status already. So points can be claimed off the landed sibling thereof
So @MamaHeaven please take note
