Dear House,
Good Morning. So delighted at the recent influx of PPR news and updates on this thread.I pray the flow does not cease and we all shall hear good news soonest.

Please,I have a question. I am AOR September 2019.I got an ADR to complete and submit a form last week Tuesday which I did same day.The ADR emanated from HongKong Visa Office despite an earlier confirmation from CIC that my VO is Accra.

Can it be that my VO has been changed to HongKong from Accra?

Regards.

Good day all. Please, I'm posting for a friend. I will post as received. I will like to know if there's any teacher here that doesn't have a degree in education. I have a degree in English language and have been teaching in a private primary school. I recently got my masters in public administration because I want to leave teaching for something else. I started my Canadian Journey and got ITA I'm the last draw. Someone told me my application will be rejected because I don't have a certification in education and I'm claiming points for teaching. Please help me

Please my husband has an HND and PGD. He is the secondary applicant, I only evaluated his PGD as per the higher qualification. Am I on the right path?
Will it be defined as 2 or more certificates? Or do I need to evaluate HND too?

But I think for an AOR of Dec 18, 2019 in a VO like Accra and considering COVID-19, that was still super fast! cheesy ...Maybe I'm just the only one here thinking this way.

I completely agree with you... However, AVO have been doing wonders recently though.

I got to understand that workload was redistributed to Hong Kong, hence the recent influx. If you notice, recent PPR mails come around 5am! It's def not Accra cos we operate similar timezone but Hong Kong is 7 hours ahead of us... So that makes more sense.

Plus, I saw workload redistributIon to Hong Kong on the last GCMS I ordered in October.

My opinion though.

In all, I give thanks to the almighty!

That is not true....your NOC must not follow what you studied. Just make sure you have about 3 years experience in teaching and evaluate just your Msc as your highest qualification.
My PPR ogas, hope I answered rightly?

Yes, it's def Hong Kong... Guess Accra couldn't handle the workload and backlogs so they had to redistribute files to their secondary offices. Hong Kong is working now but I understand CIO (Sydney) isnt working at full capacity at the moment.

That's been the gist though on different whatsapp support groups.

Yeah made a mistake. Since modified em.

The person truly needs a minimum 8 in listening. So can't fail more than 4 questions
During my last ielts in September, I could actually swear that I got just one question wrong and when the result came out I had. 7.5 in listening, 7.5 Fam!

I believe PGD is evaluated as a 1 year program and not a Masters, Evaluating both degrees would give points for two or more degrees which gives about 3 points higher than just PGD. So evaluate the HND to add points especially if you really need the 3 extra points.
Evaluating only highest degree works well usually when it come to Masters, PHD.

Thanks so much Ayeesha B for the reply. It was evaluated as PGD 2years. I am not sure how much we need it because I am 26 with an MSC and 3 years experience. (My IELTS will be out by next month). But we will begin on the process just incase. So I need to pay for an upgrade to add the HND to WES, Chai extra 110CAD. It is well!
