REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS Reproductive rights for women has been and still is a heated issue in the public discourse but it has made great strides since 1968. There is no doubt that “the pill” was a major step as it allowed women complete control of the timing of their pregnancies. The contraceptive options for women have only expanded since “the pill” came on the market and now include everything from female condoms to patches, and shots over 40 contraceptives. Women Reproductive rights and control is granted to women in 4 layers. Step 1 : Birth Control. Step 2 : Morning after pill. (It should also be noticed that the woman makes this decision for both her and the man) Step 3 : Abortion (It should also be noticed that the woman makes this decision for both her and the man) Step 4 : To give up for adoption or not give up for adoption. (It should also be noticed that the woman makes this decision for both her and the man) Sexual relations with a man means that a woman: A) Consent to sex (she can withdraw consent) B) Does not consent to become a parent. BLAME IT ON PATRIARCHY Feminist keep portraying how patriarchy is evil and women should be given opportunity to be president and there will be peace because men are filled with toxic masculinity. SOME WORDS ON PATRIARCHY Even in the patriarchy that is much hated, men were not exclusively enjoying. They are primary victims of war, work related deaths, die earlier than their female counterparts. Work hard to hustle for the stay at home wife and children however, feminist see this as oppression. To prevent cuckoldry and ensure paternity assurance, men kept their wives at home and ensure they dress with modesty. This is oppression to feminist. What about during world war that men are recruited to fight war albeit against their will. If you are above 18 you are being recruited for war. Even in time of so called "patriarchy" there were not only gods but goddesses which people worshipped. This shows women were also revered. In biblical times Women like Deborah, Ruth, Rahab, Mary etc were adored and praised. Queens were allowed to rule in so called patriarchy. Queen made decisions. Queens ruled. And women were also shown but be very agressive and violent in biblical times like Jezebel, Athaliah etc and throughout history such as Bloody mary, Magaret Thatcher. Feminist posits that all men are privileged, even if even if men eventually become victims they deserve it. THE DUPLICITY Whenever there is a female aggressor and male victim of Domestic Violence, feminist ideology does not usually acknowledge or respond. Even here on Nairaland when women do terrible things alot of females avoid the thread. Sometimes they will attempt to suppress it or rationalise the female behaviour as seeming reasonable within the perverted confines of the mainstream media with something like “oh he probably did something to upset her” blame shifting back to the man, as if all of a sudden, she’s not a human being responsible for her own actions. THE DOUBLE STANDARDS Domestic Violence is bidirectional and no one will start beating the other gender for no reason except on drugs or alcohol. Feminist will argue that whatever a woman does she doesn't deserve violence which i may agree but what i don't agree and i don't get is why will they twist it around when a man is a victim of Domestic Violence and defend the woman that she must have been hurt or he did something terrible to her. THE REALITY While women are victims of violence, Men are victims of death. For every 1 woman that dies 10men are already dead. During the Nigerian civil war, many men were forced to fight not of their own volition. In war men are always killed but most of the time women and children are spared. THE FALSE NARRATIVE In the so called patriarchy men go to war, do the dirty jobs pack garbage. Enroll in military and the rest. Men do the tough jobs the mechanic, the garbage man, the hawkers, the shoe shiners etc. Men are more logical so they do well in the hard science. Don't you observe that women are bad in Maths but good in theory esp cramming. Men never attempted to take care of children and allow women to do that because women are better adapted. If you study biology you will know this is true. Have you ever seen a C0ck rearing or taking care of a chicks. In the so called patriarchy, men and women do their assigned roles according to biology nothing more nothing less. Do you know that in the 19th century feminist were seen as a minor radical group who were rebellious to societal norms? The technique they were using at that time didn't work, they had to change to something more appealing to everyone. Gradually they were able to convince those in power with their ideology and now feminism is taking over. WOMEN ARE NOT BETTER If you want to know someone's true character put them in power. Feminist talk about gender discrimination in workplace abd show how women are discriminated by men and blame patriarchy. What is not talked about is women to women discrimination. Women in high position are jealous of other women and are very competitive. A STORY A young lady did her internship in NNPC, she was able to grab the attention of one of the superiors due to her curves. She was retained after her internship and was given a high rank position. Couple of years later, other Younger women became interns there and you need to see how wicked this lady was to them. ANY HUMAN CAN BE VIOLATED I have an egalitarian view of domestic violence. Truth be told men are high perpetrators of violence against women, but not to only women but also children and even other men. However, Most men guilty of these are not necessarily just oppressing women nor are they targeting only women to be violent to them. Most Men tend to simp for women and will fight other men for it. For example, A woman slaps a man due to an incident and the man gets angry and slaps her back. She gets angry and says she will deal with him and then reports to her rugged cultist boyfriend who is called Capone and is responsible for dead of many people. Before you know there will be a bloodbath and if care is not taken death occurs. The incident will be noted as cultist fight. Now imagine this same lady pissing him of, he may end up beating her up and the next thing you here is that she is a victim of Domestic Violence. GOING DEEPER INTO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE Part 1 Feminist do not believe that male Violence is a personal problem but a problem of patriarchy and that women committing Violence against men is always out of self defense. Looking beyond self-defense, studies have found a range of causes for female-perpetrated Violence. In 2006, Rose A. Medeiros and Murray A. Straus conducted a study using a sample of 854 students (312 men and 542 women) from two American universities. They identified fourteen specific risk factors common amongst both males and females who had committed IPV; poor anger management, antisocial personality disorders , borderline personality disorders , pattern of dominating relationships, substance abuse, criminal history, posttraumatic stress disorders , depression , communication problems, jealousy , sexual abuse as a child, stress , and a general attitudinal approval of partner violence. VIOLENCE IN SAME SEX R/SHIP A 2013 study showed that 40.4% of self-identified lesbians and 56.9% of bisexual women have reported being victims of partner violence. If lesbians can undergo domestic violence it shows women are as violent as men only that when they are in a relationship with men they are intimidated by men size, strength and stature and resort more to using emotional abuse. If not that men are stronger than women eh, alot of women will beat us lol . Women know they can won't win fighting men physically so they use other means like cutting his penis(penetectomy) , burning him(cremation) , pouring hot water, pouring acid(vitriolage) etc. There was a time on fb when some one asked women in a group that what will they do if they were to be men for a day. I was expecting to see them say they will develop the world, make inventions etc but i was shocked.
