About the Course

HSE Training Academy Rig Safety Course is designed to provide new entrant in the oil & gas industry with a basic

orientation of rig operations (land based rig and oshore platform or vessel) and safe work

practices to improve safety performance & assist in satisfying OSHA regulations as well as industry practices.

Participants will be able to demonstrate a basic knowledge of general oil & gas safety practices

acceptable to the industry.

Upon completion of this training the participant should be familiar with general safety procedures,

hazard recognition, transportation rules and regulations, and the rig environment.

Fire prevention
Emergency action plan and emergency drills
Hazards and effects management process
