The All Progressives Congress (APC) flag off in Ondo state was held today and it was such a remarkable and interesting one. The flag off was graced by top Nigerian politician which include the National Leader for the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, chairman of Ondo state campaign committee who also doubles as the governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo Olu, Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano state, Governor Yahaha Bello of Kogi who was ably represented by his deputy, Chief Edward Onoja, Chief Bisi Akande, Transportation Minister, Chief Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi and many more. The event was such a colourful one as the dignitaries dressed in a light green and blue Ankara with the inscription 4+4 on it. The presence of the APC leaders in Ondo today is to campaign for Akeredolu and ensure that he comes out victorious in the October 10 governorship election. Before the the commencement of the flag off, Asiwaju Tinubu had earlier commissioned the Office Complex for the Ondo State Internal Revenue Service (Revenue House) built by Governor Rotimi Akeredolu. Many of the supporters of APC in Ondo state trooped out in their numbers to campaign with Governor Akeredolu. Aketi as he is popularly called is seeking reelection for second term. He will be contesting against Eyitayo Jegede of PDP, Agboola Ajayi of ZLP and others in the October 10 governorship election.
