Brothers and Sisters, it is not ill-timed anything. It is absolutely unnecessary and uncalled for.

The government is a government of waste and theft. Even if they are 10 naira on utility services, with over 100millions to cater to, they are already in excess on monthly basis not mention fuel but because they steal everything, zillions can never be enough even if the increase everything by a thousand percent

He is right.

Multinational companies are leaving. Personal businesses hardly thriving. Many bankrupt already. Yet increase is the order of the day...

No one says you shouldn't protest... Its part of human right to protest against real or perceived injustice.

Stop the blame game and do your own part instead of crying wolf all the time. Wailing does no one any good

This government doesn't have our interests at heart. While I understand that certain factors triggered by the pandemic might have necessitate the upward review of the electricity bill and petrol price, I think this is the wrong time to do so, considering that many businesses are just recovering from the blow dealt on them during the lockdown.

Be that as it may, we all voted for Buhari; it wouldn't have been any better if it were Atiku. So, let us all endure till 2023 and see the intensity of the sufferness the next government brings.

You voted for j...I did not...just to remind you Atiku would have been a better choice

If the government had built refineries or better still sold the ones we had to other people who would make them work, the country wouldn't be spending hard earned FX on importing fuel. We might have been buying fuel for N50 now who knows? It's really sad to know that all the promises made were cancelled (APC) What Nigerians need right now is a visionary. If not the problem is far from over.

U mean Nigerians need a visionary leader?

Why are you so confused- asking government to build refineries while simultaneously asking that the existing ones be privatised? You better clear up your head and say what you want clearly- government ownership or privately owned?

Jonathan licenced Dangote to build the refinery in Lagos.
Obasanjo sold the refineries, but Barawo Bubu's fellow incompetent man from Katsina reversed the sales.

Nigerians want cheap oil and electricity in a country that produce nothing.

The government should immediately introduce tollgate on all federal roads. Nigeria must also pay for existing and future infrastructures.

Had GEJ remove oil subsidies in 2012 the country would have been able to save £8 billion a year that can be invested in repairing the four and refineries and building additional eletricity power plants.

This is where many of you are getting it wrong... They aren't increasing it because of the pandemic. They have proposed the power rate increament even before the pandemic, they even proposed April as the kick off month and the fuel price has been there but for the pandemic they have to wait a little... U are saying 2023, because u don't value lives, if only u know the price of crude oil due to the pandemic and yet they want u people to buy it at ₦151 , probably, before 2022, the pandemic would be over and the crude oil price will rice , then no Nigerian will buy PMS for ₦200 , the ₦151 its even due to the low price of crude , in some few months time , many of you will know that 2023 , is not next tomorrow...many who said 2023, died of corona in 2020... The disaster ahead due to the rate of corruption and govt recklessness would be worst than pandemic join with insecurity , may God protect us , Mali, Egypt , would be child play, nobody will force anybody to come out for protest... May God gguard us till then ...amen

What i meant is a two prong approach. Either they build more and manage the ones the country have to optimum capacity or sell off the ones we currently have

We have lots of visionary leaders in every zone of the country, but the major political parties wouldn't give them the platform because they despise those who wants to make the country better. The people of Nigeria are themselves not ready to let go of enthicity and religious sentiments to back someone who is visionary irrespective of his/her religion and enthicity. We cannot move this country forward without letting go of things.
