He didn't compare pricing with major oil producing Nations in Africa. He gave us just selective prices. Lai Mohammed should give us that of Angola, Algeria, Lybia etc. Why compare Nigeria with African countries that do not produce oil capacity like Nigeria?

Also, Nigerian crude oil is highly sought after because of its quality and Nigeria is the highest oil producing Nation in Africa. So, our oil is in high demand and yet we suffer for this.

He mentioned Saudi Arabia and Egypt. Can he tell us if the development in these countries can be seen in Nigeria despite huge sales from crude oil?

All prices are in naira.

A better measure would be GDP per capita. Some are higher than Nigeria, others are lower.

though the fuel hike timing may be ill-advised, the fact remains that nigerians should embrace the developement (removal of subsidy) which has led to the hike in price. gradually, the geographical entity called Nigeria, will be sanitised.
