I strongly agree that the refineries must be privatised but the last people to oversea privatisation is the crook Atiku and EL-Rufai, we are still recovering from their privatisation of the paper mill, Ajaoukuta and ALSCON to their corrupt friends.

Talking about refineries; what we’ve done is to sequence the rehabilitation of the refineries. We’re going to start first with Port Harcourt refinery.

“In Port Harcourt, we have two refineries; the old refinery and the new refinery with 60,000 and 250,000 barrels capacity respectively.

“Now, there’s going to be a third refinery within Port Harcourt which is going to collocate, it’s going to be a private refinery in Port Harcourt.

“That project will be signed in the fourth quarter of 2020. And by the first quarter of 2021, work will start in earnest. Discussions are ongoing with rehabilitations of Warri and Kaduna as well.

“It’s time for Nigerians to face reality and do the right thing. What is deregulation going to do? It’s going to free up a lot more money.

“At least, from the very beginning, it’ll save us up to a trillion and more every year. Already, we’ve taken up the budgetary provision for subsidy which is about N500bn in the budget.

“Also, we’ve taken off the excess forex price that special rate given to NNPC which also came at a cost. So, all the money that we used to defend the Naira at that time to subsidise the dollar will now be freed up for development.

Oh Lord, save us from these deceptive and wicked leaders.

Buhari didn't change. He has always been a hypocrite! It's people that praise him, thinking that he's good. Some people who witnessed his military regime denounced him when he contested to become president.

I did warn people back then, in fact, I can recall some certain guys here in Abuja whom I told about my red flags for Buhari, one of which was how can a man who has been Head of States of this country not be able to procure presidential elections tickets by himself after leaving office... That showed he could not manage his life and business enough to earn money for elections yet he planned to win the elections, these boys would keep shouting CHANGE, CHANGE, CHANGE... Fast forward to like 2 years after Buhari's elections, one of them shamefully called me on phone despite the fact that we lived literally on the same street, he called me at night to say something like "Bros, shey you remember that you used to say this Buhari that we are shouting his name up and down that we would all sit down to condemn him even before he finishes his first term?" He said he was regretting ever campaigning for him.
