Job Title: Sales representative

Summary
The individual (preferably MALE) will be responsible for actively seeking chain supermarkets/stores to carry our products.

Skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills is a must
Must be very persuasive and know how to handle objections
Knowledge of major supermarkets and big stores in Lagos is a plus

Key Responsibilities
Research supermarket and chain stores in Lagos who may be interested in carrying our products.
Present, promote and sell products to major supermarkets and stores in Lagos
Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes monthly
Track and prepare sales report and present to management
Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products.
Requirements
Proven work experience as a Sales Representative
Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
Excellent knowledge of MS Office will be a plus
Personality
We are looking for a team player (preferably MALE) who is friendly, yet driven, professional yet has amazing persuasive and negotiation skills and will do everything ethically possible to make the sales happen.

Experience
NCE/OND/HND are welcome to apply. At least 1 year experience in a similar role will be a plus.

Location

Salary
N40,000 per month

Strategic/ Operational

Demonstrating, presenting, product offering: Go alone or liaise with the Head of Sales, and/or relevant management staff to sell products/services to target clients using company profiles, proposal, personalized sales speech, presentation and more

Negotiating contracts in a win-win style: Liaise with the Head of Sales, or relevant management staff to negotiate service price according to company set down pricing standard and close deals with the aim of maximizing sales profits in a mutually beneficial manner

Maintaining accurate records: Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
Collaborate with appropriate team members to determine necessary strategic sales approaches

Researching and analyzing prospects.

Planning and Organizing sales visits.

Supporting marketing through active lead nurturing and developing prospect relationships.

Maintain and expand the company’s database of prospects.

Attending trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings.

Set up and deliver sales presentations, product/service demonstrations, and other sales actions.

Where necessary, support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events.

Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports.
